An Art Nouveau design aluminum medal of the Virgin Mary. It appears to be a souvenir from the very early days of the miraculous spring of Lourdes. The apparition of the Virgin Mary to Bernadette was in the 1850s, and the Lourdes Sanctuary was completed at the beginning of the 20th century, so this item is likely from the 1870s to the 1890s.
I believe that an Art Nouveau design Lourdes medal is a rather rare medal. I've researched various sources, but I haven't found anything exactly the same.
