You can wear it straight-legged, or you can use the openings at the hem to add elastic and wear it as monpe. I am 147cm tall, and when I wear it straight-legged, my ankles are covered, but I don't think it's too long; it's just right. The hip and thigh area is made large, so it's easy to sit and stand.
