Jupiter Trombone, SSL636R Lacquer finish, with case [Instrument Features] This is the Jupiter SSL636R, a large-bore tenor trombone. Jupiter is a wind instrument manufacturer with a factory in Taiwan. Jupiter trombones have been developed to this day with the guidance and management of Japanese Global Corporation technicians and local craftsmen. I apologize for this being unrelated to the listing, but in fact, XO instruments are manufactured in the same Taiwanese factory as Jupiter. (Yamaha also manufactures parts in overseas factories.) This SSL636R is currently a discontinued model. The successor model is JTB1150FR (list price: 330,000 yen). Jupiter trombones are models that imitate Yamaha trombones and are in high demand and popular as school equipment because they can be purchased at a low price. [Condition] The instrument has been adjusted and inspected at a musical instrument store before listing, so you can use it immediately upon arrival. There are noticeable dents in the flare of the bell. There are also shallow dents on the bell that do not appear in the photos, so it is recommended for those who are not particular about the appearance. The slide is smooth. The rotary valve also moves lightly. There is some rust on the lacquer of the outer slide tube, but the inner tube is clean. The rotary lever action has been replaced with metal parts because the original plastic parts were damaged. Recommended for home practice for third-year students who have retired from junior high or high school club activities.
