This is a silk tsumugi kimono, transformed into a lustrous, chic, and elegant dress. It's a dress that can be worn all year round. I made it using a pattern I created from a dress worn by an acquaintance. It's an original design that has been repeatedly improved. There are six tucks in the front bodice and one tuck in the center of the back bodice, creating a roomy width. The length is about 120cm, and the bust is about 116cm. I've designed it so that you can wear it with either the front or back facing forward. Although it has a relaxed width, the tucks give it a neat appearance. The cuffs are wide for ease of arm movement. After much trial and error, I spent a lot of time carefully finishing it using Japanese thread and a lockstitch machine. I've added stitching to the shoulder and waist seams for an accent and to make it durable for washing. It's a free size, so anyone can wear it. The exquisite length of the upper and lower sections makes it a stylish dress. I wear a dress of the same design, and it's comfortable. It's a one-of-a-kind dress, free size, that anyone can wear. You can wear it with the feeling of wearing a kimono. It's long-sleeved, and the cuffs are designed to have elastic threaded through them. When you push up the sleeves, the dress takes on a different look. To make it wearable for everyone, the neckline needs to be somewhat wide.
