I have made a handmade granny bag using Cath Kidston fabric. The shoulder strap (2.5cm) was deliberately made wider to prevent shoulder pain. (We can make it thinner, so please let us know if you prefer) The shoulder strap is, of course, the perfect length to carry on your shoulder, or to hang on your elbow or lower. The bag has plenty of tucks, so it can hold more than it looks.
