This is a wonderful piece by the 13th Imaemon, who organized the Iro-Nabeshima Imaemon Technical Preservation Society in 1976 to preserve the techniques of Iro-Nabeshima. He was designated a holder of Important Intangible Cultural Property (Living National Treasure) in 1989. This piece was presented to some individuals when he became a Living National Treasure.
