It appears to have been carefully kept for many years, and is in good condition with only extremely minor scratches and no other noticeable damage. This is a fine piece, featuring maki-e of representative autumn flowers and grasses such as chrysanthemums, bellflowers, pampas grass, and golden-eye, skillfully arranged with colored lacquer.
