[Excellent Condition] Size 40 (L), a stylish border knit that goes well with denim from Mackintosh Philosophy. I purchased it at Isetan Kyoto a few years ago for about 25,000 yen. I have a lot of plain knitwear, and I wanted a knit that was a little casual but had a mature feel. I was looking for a border knit, but border knits tend to look childish, and I couldn't find one that I really liked. Then, this knit caught my eye because the shop staff was wearing a different color version, and it had a very mature atmosphere. I asked about it, and they said it was from the current season, so I chose it from the full range of colors. I especially liked this knit because it has a beautiful color scheme: off-white with a peacock-like, beautiful blue-green. (I think it's a green color that you wouldn't find in fast fashion brands.) I love the white and green color combination because it looks great with denim. Also, as the aforementioned shop staff did, it looks even more mature and stylish when paired with gray slacks, which is a great look. I also love that just by lightly wearing a coat, the border peeks out from the opening and adds a nice accent. (The borders appear to be randomly placed with different thicknesses, but the amount of white and the thickness of the lines are exquisite. I feel like they might have been placed with the idea of how they would look when peeking out from a coat.) On a practical note, I also liked that the neckline has green instead of white, so it seems less likely to get dirty... that was one of the selling points for me, lol. The construction is, as expected from Sanyo Shokai, with the pattern matching perfectly between the body and sleeves, so the border goes all the way around the body without interruption, giving it a "high-quality" feel. (If this part is mismatched, it tends to look cheap.) Also, the sewing is meticulous, and it maintains a moderate neckline opening. (If the sewing is loose, the neckline will become worn out and look disappointing the more you wear it.) I only wore it on holidays, along with other knitwear, so I've worn it about 6-7 times, and I think it's in relatively excellent condition. I really love this knit, so I would be happy to pass it on to someone who will cherish it.
