I am selling this item as I am cleaning out my parents' house. When the switch is set to "◯", the "Yokai Detection" sound plays, and it lights up. Rotating the gold ring to move the protrusions to positions 1 and 2 will produce a mechanical sound. I do not have any Yokai Medals, so I have not been able to confirm the sound that plays when a medal is inserted. Since I haven't tested the operation fully, there is a possibility that no sound will be produced. The transparent parts have many scratches. The back side is discolored due to sun damage. I will remove the batteries. As this item has been stored at home, it is a bargain for those who don't mind these issues. I have dogs and cats, so please refrain from purchasing if you have allergies. #YokaiWatch
