Graduated from the Department of Architecture, School of Science and Engineering, Waseda University. Author, architect, painter, singer. In May 2011, after the Great East Japan Earthquake, he was appointed Prime Minister of the New Government. He made his mobile phone number public and continues to have conversations with people suffering from suicidal thoughts through "Inochi no Denwa" (Life Phone). In 2004, he published the photo book "0 Yen House" (Little More). He has authored numerous books, including "How to Build an Independent Nation" (Kodansha Gendai Shinsho), "Haitaxi" (Shinchosha), "Reality Dwelling" (Kawade Shobo Shinsha), "Make Your Own Medicine" (Shobunsha), and "Call Me When You're Suffering" (Kodansha Gendai Shinsho). As an artist, he held a solo exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery in Canada in 2006 and currently holds exhibitions in various locations. In 2023, he held a solo exhibition at the Kumamoto City Museum of Contemporary Art.
