Indian cotton is very light and feels good against the skin. Also, I think it's okay without ironing. I wore it about twice, and it has been home-cleaned and stored. I don't see any scratches or stains, but there may be oversights. The design, which switches between different floral prints on the bodice and skirt, is impressive. It's a gorgeous pattern finished with "block print," a traditional Indian craft where ink is carefully applied to the fabric by hand, one press at a time, using meticulously hand-carved wooden blocks like stamps.
