This is a commemorative item from the completion of the Heisei renovation of the Great Pagoda at Kirihata-ji Temple, the 10th temple on the Shikoku Pilgrimage. It is a shield-shaped item, approximately 10cm tall, 6.8cm wide, and 6mm thick. It was created as a commemorative item upon the completion of the renovation in May 2002. It is a valuable item and feels heavy.
