This is a vintage, old James guitar, a brand of Shimamura Music. I bought it 20 years ago and have been using it ever since. It's developed a really nice character, so I think it's a better deal than buying a current model. I've often been told at live houses that it has a great sound. Also, Shimamura staff members have given it high praise, saying it has a sound that current models don't have. The sound is characterized by beautiful high frequencies and added depth. It can also be equipped with a piezo pickup. I spent about 37,000 yen on a famous K country piezo. So the guitar itself is a bargain. If you don't want the piezo, it's 10,000 yen off. Without the piezo, there will be a hole from the processing, and there will be no strap pin. For protection during shipping, it will be packed in cardboard and bubble wrap.
