This is a Kokeshi doll from the Kijiyama lineage. On the back, there is a handwritten inscription in ink that reads "Showa 30 Hakusan Junior High School Graduation, 42 years old, for a charm against misfortune," suggesting it was made around 1982 (27 years after the 1955 graduation). There are no chips or cracks, but there is some slight discoloration. The height is approximately 29cm. It will be shipped via Yu-Pack or Takkyubin. Originally, he ran a shop in Yuzawa that handled lacquerware and folk crafts. From April 1967, he began turning wood under the guidance of Takematsu Igawa. From January 1969, he began making Kokeshi dolls by observation. He made Kokeshi dolls with the traditional Yuzawa kite "Managu" pattern on the body.
