While there is some wear and tear on the insoles and soles, the exterior is relatively clean and I think they are still in good condition to wear. The heels don't have much scuffing, as I wore another pair more often. There are marks from stickers (on the insoles) and writing on the outside. The insoles are not torn, but some people may be concerned about the stains. (The insoles have also been completely cleaned at home. I have washed the insoles with a brush, and also washed the inside of the shoes.) This is a popular color that often sells out. I think they would look good on both boys and girls. Home cleaned.
