Returns are not accepted. This long-pile rug is woven by the nomadic "Qashqai" people from the Zagros Mountains in western Iran to the highlands of Fars province in the south. In recent years, due to the popularity of Gabbeh rugs in Europe and Japan, production for export as interior items such as rugs and wall hangings has increased. Gabbeh rugs woven by the Qashqai people were registered as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2012.
