It is a gentle and lovely series. The "Ribbon" series is hand-painted with delicate touches using pigment on a fine pen tip. It was launched as a limited edition at the Herend Japan main store about two years ago. It's a lovely and favorite series of mine. New items have been gradually added in recent years. I had Ribbon Rose Dragée tea items on display at home until last month, but my daughter took them overseas due to a job transfer and relocation, so I felt lonely and went to the Aoyama main store to buy more. I bought a teapot and teacups for now, but I also bought Ribbon Lilac, being greedy. I only have space for one series in my display case. This time, I decided to display Lilac for a change of pace. It's only been a few days since I bought it, but I'm listing it unopened, still in its wrapping, while it's still new. Herend items are hand-painted. The colors and the arrangement of the patterns are slightly different for each piece. In the Ribbon series, the way the petals open differs. I have chosen and purchased items with a good balance of colors and beautiful colors, and those with beautifully opened petals. It is very similar to the "Eden" pattern, but "Ribbon" is a Club Herend Japan main store limited edition. It is a series that cannot be ordered from department stores, etc. Recommended for those who like "Eden" and "Mediterranean Garden". It is also recommended for those who like it.
