I have deconstructed a "tsukesage" (a type of formal kimono), washed it, and used the sleeve lining and "hakkake" (lining of the kimono hem) to create a room wear, dress, or negligee. It is naturally dyed, but there are some color irregularities due to the reducing agent used. I have made a scarf from the lining that couldn't be used for the main product. This is handmade by an amateur using a home zigzag sewing machine. The sewing level and quality are not comparable to professional or industrial products. There may be some fading, scratches, stains, loose threads, and crease marks. The color may differ slightly between the photos and the actual product. Please purchase only if you understand and accept the nature of handmade items.
