There are minor scratches and dirt due to aging, but they are not very noticeable. However, please refrain from purchasing if you are particularly sensitive or seeking perfection. The four strings are new. An adjuster is attached to the E string, making it easy to tune. Accessories include a brand new bow and a hard case. (One of the case clasps (photo 16) is unusable, but the other two clasps function normally. The price has been reduced accordingly. Please refrain from purchasing if this is a concern.) Also included is a brand new rosin (photo 17). Before use, apply the rosin generously and evenly to the bow hair, rubbing firmly. Otherwise, the violin will not produce a good sound.
