First, the ink color: a strong reddish-brown. There are hardly any inks with this much red. Some manufacturers say their inks are reddish-brown, but the red quality isn't that high. Moreover, it writes lightly and smoothly. Therefore, For kana calligraphy, especially for large format works, use it as thick ink or medium to light ink.
