We believed it offered an excellent balance of durability, quick-drying properties, and wind resistance, making it a material that could be used with confidence for long hikes. However, Taslan nylon had one drawback. Because it lacks stretch, it would result in pants that restrict leg movement with standard patterns and designs. We spent time solving that problem, and the 5-Pocket Pants became a standard product for Yamato Michi. However, there were times when it felt slightly restrictive and difficult to move in activities like climbing, which require raising the legs high. The 5-Pocket One Tuck Pants are a product that solves that problem. By adding tucks to the waist, leg movement is improved, and the silhouette has become a beautiful tapered style.
