This is a piece by a potter from a kiln in Okayama Prefecture. It was fired in a climbing kiln. I love this artist and their work, and I've collected quite a few pieces without realizing it. Since I only use certain pieces, I'm offering this one for sale, as it's hardly been used. I cherish this piece, as I also admire the artist's personality. It's a size and shape that fits comfortably in the hand. The irregular, slightly imperfect shapes are the charm of this artist's work. It's a shape that captivates the heart. Surprisingly light, weighing about 150g. It's been thoroughly fired. It resembles Bizen ware, but it's apparently different (according to the artist).
