PFRETZSCHNER stamp. It weighs 67g, which is light for a viola bow, and its total length is approximately 73cm, slightly shorter than a standard bow. It might be suitable for smaller individuals who find it difficult to reach with the tip of the bow, or for those who switch between violin and viola. Subjectively, it produces a solid, rich sound with a soft touch. There is no sagging or warping. There are some minor scratches and cloudiness in the varnish on the central part of the stick. Regarding authenticity, the previous seller mentioned receiving confirmation from the store where they purchased it that it is genuine. However, as this was a verbal appraisal, I will state that the authenticity is unknown to prevent any issues. The frog does not have the characteristic Pfretzschner engraving, so it is possible that the frog is not original. There is no certificate of authenticity, so I am offering it at a lower price. Please understand and acknowledge this point. The hair was replaced two years ago, but as I rotated between multiple bows, it was not used frequently, so I believe it can be used as is for some time. This is an old bow with an unknown production date, so please purchase with an understanding of age-related deterioration, scratches, varnish wear, and cloudiness of parts.
