(#180) ② Persimmon Tannin Coating: Apply persimmon tannin with a brush. ③ Spatula Application: Mix lacquer and earth powder, then apply with a spatula. ④ Water Grinding: Polish with a whetstone. ⑤ Undercoating: Apply lacquer with a brush. ⑥ Spatula Application: Mix lacquer and polishing powder, then apply with a spatula. Repeat steps ④ to ⑥ three times. ⑦ Water Grinding: Polish with a whetstone. (#1000～#1200) ⑧ Finishing: Apply finishing lacquer. Repeat steps ⑦ to ⑧ three times. ⑨ Decoration: Apply maki-e (sprinkled picture) and other decorations.
