Please be aware of this. These are coasters made from tenugui (Japanese hand towels) from the nugoo brand. They have a sturdy construction with a lining. The nugoo brand was a tenugui specialty store that focused on the traditional Chusen dyeing technique. However, they unfortunately closed down in 2020. Based in Kamakura, they incorporated scenes of Kamakura while also using Chusen to vividly express traditional Japanese patterns and landscapes. The pattern placement may differ from the photos depending on the product. Please understand. Due to the traditional dyeing method, there may be unique color unevenness, dye smudges, and color bleeding. Please understand. Although new and unused, please understand that these have been stored at home. While we have inspected them, there may be minor stains or imperfections that we may have missed. Please understand.
