This collection was inspired by the colors of my grandmother's garden, which my father cultivated for nearly 48 years.
My grandmother, Irene Powell Reed, was born in Blooming Grove, Texas in 1897. She was quite the gardener and had an active personality. She helped me make my first dress on a treadle sewing machine without a pattern. When I got married, she gave me an angel wing begonia, which I have cherished and nurtured.
This collection features designs inspired by flowers. Evelyn's Flower Garden, with new purple and green versions. Pink and green flowering forests, and lilacs and roses. Her favorite colors were shades of pink and purple.
