This large plate is perfect for displaying sashimi (fugu sashimi) and other dishes. It features an all-over geometric pattern with raised and recessed areas, resembling tsumami zaiku (pinched-petal crafts). It also looks like a floral pattern. With a diameter of 27.5cm, it's quite a large plate. It's a thick plate with a substantial weight, indicating a sturdy construction. Although it's made of Seto ware, I believe it's a durable plate suitable for everyday use. It would be lovely used in a Japanese style for white fish sashimi, but it's also great for Western-style dishes like pasta. The color is close to celadon, and the last photo is the closest to the actual item. I've used it a few times, but it hasn't been used much, so I'm putting it up for sale.
