This is a lens from the early days of Minolta AF, and although it's been nearly 40 years, I think it has the kind of out-of-focus rendering that is typical of Minolta. When it comes to macro lenses, Tamron was said to be favored for its soft rendering, but it didn't seem to resonate much with Minolta users. Indeed, if there was a lens with such gentle rendering, I think it's an excellent lens that makes you understand why people wouldn't necessarily buy Tamron at the time. Due to the time of year, there have been many snowy days, making outdoor shooting difficult, so I did macro photography in a place where I could avoid the rain and wind, but of course, you can enjoy normal shooting as well.
