Gundam Mini Figure Selection Plus MS-06R-2 Johnny Ridden's Custom High Mobility Zaku II -------------------- Model Number: MS-06-R. A mobile suit for space combat used by the Principality of Zeon. It first appeared in the magazine "Gundam Century," and later, after illustrations were drawn for "SF Plamo Book 1 Mobile Suit Gundam REAL TYPE CATALOGUE," modeler examples gained popularity, leading to its inclusion in the "MSV" project when it began. It is one of the variations of the Zaku II, a masterpiece of the Zeonic Company. Development progressed as part of measures to strengthen combat power in space, as the war was expected to become prolonged after a month from the start of the One Year War due to the signing of the Antarctic Treaty. (In "Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN," the development period was moved up, and the Black Tri-Stars were piloting High Mobility Zaku IIs from the Battle of Loum before the Antarctic Treaty was signed.) While the overall silhouette is not much different from mass-produced types like the F type, it newly equipped a large backpack with enhanced thrust on the back, and the legs were also changed to have three pairs of thrusters. Furthermore, the generator and frame were also renewed, and it can be said that it is virtually a different mobile suit, including the internal structure.
