This item is from my parents' house. I bought two of these together at a local pet shop about 2-3 years ago. The lid opens with a pop, which startled my pet, and they wouldn't go near it at all. I tried it twice, but it didn't work, so I'm putting it up for sale. I only put pet food in it twice, and no animals have touched it. I think it's an item that's almost new, but it was stored on a shelf near a window, so the outer box shows some discoloration and deterioration. Please refrain from purchasing if you are at all concerned. The batteries were sold separately, but I'll include the alkaline batteries I used for testing (they will be removed from the main unit for shipping). I checked the operation before listing it. It worked without any problems, but this is just a basic check. Please understand. Each box had an instruction manual, but I've lost one, so you'll only receive one (see photo 6). The packaging will be a simple one using recycled materials from my home. Please purchase this item understanding that it is a home-stored item from a private seller.
