This is an old Meisen kimono. It has a stylish striped pattern with a shimmering, iridescent weave. Depending on the angle, it appears to have a yellowish or purplish sheer overlay, giving it a unique and beautiful look. While there are no glaring, fatal flaws, there are some original fabric weaving irregularities and minor weaving imperfections, as shown in images 11-14. There are also wrinkles from storage. The knot-like area in image 12 is where the obi (sash) would be tied. It can be worn if you don't mind these minor imperfections, but please understand that this is an old item.
