Great Priest of the Jōdo sect, Nishiyama Zenrin-ji school. Years in office: 1929-? Real name: Genkō Ōnishi. His own temple was Senkyū-ji Temple in Shimogyō-ku. Approved for appointment as Abbot on December 28, 1929 (Showa 4) (Official Gazette). Later resigned. Died March 22, 1938 (Showa 13). Zenrin-ji Temple is a head temple of the Nishiyama school of the Jōdo sect, located in Eikando-chō, Sakyō-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture. The head temple of the Jōdo sect, Nishiyama Zenrin-ji school.
