The backrest is not adjustable. The legs appear to be adjustable in 5 stages. The backrest and seat will be disassembled (screws removed) for shipping. There are 3 types of screws (9 total), and they are labeled to indicate where they belong, so please assemble them yourself. Please check the images for the condition as this is a used item.
