It seems like a good gift for someone who has just started a business. "Uma" (horse) becomes "Mau" (dance) when reversed, which is indispensable for a banquet (auspicious). People pull horses → Horses pull people → Horses call people (bringing in customers). The color is nice. It's a perfect match for coffee. There is a bulge like a belly button on the inside. I think this was intentionally made. You'll understand its meaning when you actually use it. You might understand the trick if you look closely at the images. They come up with interesting ideas. I think it would be good as a coffee cup or for drinking sake. It's a shame that I don't know the details of the artist. There is a mark on the rim of the bottom. Perhaps "Yoshi"? I think it's a work by an artist, but it's not certain. There is a scratch on the foot, which I can't tell if it's a kiln mark or a chip. Please check the images carefully for other details.
