This is a confectionery container, a craft item made with Hida Shunkei lacquerware. Diameter: Approximately 21cm, Height: Approximately 4.3cm It is a traditional craft item made of natural wood with urushi (lacquer) coating. It is made by carving out a single piece of wood, so there are no joints and it has a thick construction. The box and wrapping paper have deteriorated due to long-term storage, but the tray itself is unused and in good condition. It will be shipped in the old box, with additional packaging.
