Born as the third generation of pioneers in Engaru Town, Hokkaido, he was involved in the student movement in university, then moved to Tokyo to participate in anime production, and later became a manga artist. Yasuhiko's turbulent life reveals the state of post-war Japanese society and culture. The exhibition will introduce a number of works spanning approximately 50 years, including valuable materials from anime production, including those that have never been released before, beautiful color illustrations, and manga manuscripts from his debut to his latest works. The "artist" with overwhelming drawing ability, a grand-scale narrative, a sharp perspective that looks at the times and history, and a natural talent.
