This is a color image scanner. I used it until about 5 years ago. Includes data transfer cable and AC adapter. The white resin has yellowed. Also, the rollers in the output slot have deteriorated, yellowed, and are sticky, requiring replacement. It seems that you can substitute with silicone tubing sold at home improvement stores. (*Search for "ScanSnap s500 roller replacement" to find websites of people who have replaced them themselves.) I think it should work functionally, but as it is a junk item due to the above reasons, please understand and accept it as-is, no returns or exchanges. For those who enjoy tinkering with machines and want to fix it themselves, or as a tool for disassembly and play, or for parts, how about it?
