Regarding functionality, the adapter was discarded due to a wire break. It was running on D-cell batteries, but due to a power issue? The pitch control didn't work, and it was running very slow. Eventually, the pitch control would sometimes work and sometimes not. Also, the arm part broke (photo 6) and was fixed with instant glue. After fixing it, sound did come out. The part that fixes the arm was also replaced with a different one (photo 5). This is a junk condition, so detailed checks have not been done. Repair and maintenance are required, so please understand and have the knowledge to do so.
