Old tin HTC P-47 Thunderbolt. From my collection. I acquired this here previously. It seems HTC manufactured this as a tin toy after the war, mainly for export to the US, based on the American Republic P-47 Thunderbolt. I believe everything is original, but I'm not an expert, so please forgive any missing parts or other undisclosed defects. The model itself has fine scratches and small dents, but there is no severe rust. It appears that the right wing has undergone some repair and repainting. Specifically, there is looseness in the horizontal stabilizer and repair marks on the rear wheels. The transparent plastic canopy has no cracks or splits, and the tires are generally in good condition with no cracks or deformation. The manufacturer's logo and "Made in Japan" are displayed on the fuselage. The propeller rotates in conjunction with the friction mechanism, but the rotation is unstable due to the deterioration of the rubber in the connection. If you are handy, you may be able to repair it by replacing the rubber. Size: Total length approximately 23cm, wingspan approximately 24cm (with some error) Please judge the condition from the images. Please refrain from bidding if you are looking for perfection or are particular about minor details. The item for sale is only the aircraft body in the image. There is no box.
