This is an antique furisode (long-sleeved kimono). It's old, but it appears to be in wearable condition. It has a very beautiful design that is no longer seen today, making it a very valuable kimono. The hem has some cotton padding, giving it a soft, plump, and weighty feel. It has a large, luxurious pattern. There is also embroidery in various places. It was a very beautiful and vibrant color, and I considered repurposing it as a "hanayome no ren" (a type of noren curtain for brides), but I would be happy if someone could use it as is. It's an old kimono, but it's lovely. From the center of the collar to the sleeve length is 62 cm, and the length from the top of the collar to the hem is 170 cm. I'm not sure how to measure a kimono, so these are rough measurements. I think it would be fine to display it as is. There is also an antique obi (sash) to go with it. It's a gorgeous antique obi woven with plenty of glittering gold thread, and it can be sold as a set. The price will remain the same.
