This is a jubako (tiered food box) made by Zohiko, a long-established maker of Kyo-shikki (Kyoto lacquerware). It is a high-quality piece with a vermilion interior and black lacquer exterior, beautifully adorned with pine needle makie (sprinkled design). Simple yet elegant, it has a refined design that evokes the characteristic charm of Kyo-shikki. It is in very good condition, having only been stored. Size: Diameter 14.5 cm, Height 11.5 cm. Although it is new and unused, the box has deteriorated.
