This is a commemorative neckerchief slide (chief ring) from the 13th World Scout Jamboree, held in 1971 at Asagiri Plateau, at the foot of Mount Fuji, Japan. This event was the first World Jamboree held in Japan, with approximately 23,000 scouts from 87 countries participating. Item Features: Design: Features the Boy Scouts emblem (fleur-de-lis) in the center, with the inscription "13th WORLD JAMBOREE 1971 NIPPON Japan". Material: Made of a brown leather (genuine leather) base with an enameled metal plate attached. Usage: A chief ring used to fasten the neckerchief worn by scouts. A rare vintage item.
