Thank you for viewing. I have confirmed operation with AAA batteries. FM/AM reception and sound output from the speaker are OK. FM is wideband compatible. The channel select buttons in two places do not respond. The built-in earphones are damaged and cannot be heard, but can be used as an FM antenna. External earphones can be used. This is a defective item, so I am selling it as junk. The listing includes only the main unit, and batteries are not included. Thank you for your consideration.
