C.G. Conn 6M alto saxophone, with original case and brown case cover. Made between 1957 and 1958. I believe there are no noticeable scratches or dents. It's been about 67 years since it was manufactured, so I think it's a very beautiful instrument. The thumb rest on the left hand (white) is a semi-conical shape and not flat. I prefer a flat one, so I haven't used this instrument much. Regarding the sound, it's based on my personal impression, as individual perceptions vary. I believe it has the characteristics of a Conn. I played it and it sounds good. I purchased it at an auction about 20 years ago. I haven't used it much and have kept it in storage, so it probably needs adjustment. I am a complete novice.
