I bought this at IKKA a few years ago for about 10,000 yen and used it for about two years, commuting to the office once a week. I mainly carried a laptop and a pouch, so I don't think there are any odors. The following are the main areas of damage, and I've included photos. Top right corner of the zipper: The zipper is slightly warped, making it difficult to open and close. Shoulder straps for the backpack: There are wrinkles. Zippers and connecting hardware: There is some wear and tear on the metal parts. Bottom of the bag: There is some wear on the bottom. The interior is in good condition. The exterior has a nice sheen and looks clean. The optional shoulder strap is included and unused. The straps can be adjusted without any problems.
