I bought it but it didn't suit me, so I only tried it on and it's been sitting unused. There's a thread coming out as shown in the 4th picture, which was there originally! I think it wouldn't be noticeable if you cut it off! I think there are no noticeable scratches or stains, but please understand that this is a used item stored at home!
