This is a large, old Imari ware plate that was in my home. It features embossed designs throughout, and in addition to the traditional auspicious motifs, the dynamic dragon in the center of the plate particularly captivated the men in my family, especially my grandfather and father. The bottom is marked with "Made in the Ming Dynasty, Chenghua period." As it is an old item, there are some minor scratches and slight imperfections.
