Approximately 5.5 cm in height, approximately 8 cm in diameter. Made by Tsujii Saisai, a popular lacquer artist from Kaga. It is a flat natsume (tea caddy) with a koma-nuri (top-like) lacquer finish. There are no noticeable scratches or stains, and the condition is good. There is a written inscription by Sokan Horinouchi of the Omotesenke school. The accompanying box shows signs of aging, such as yellowing and stains.
