Valuable item! It's a very small parachute! It's handmade, and judging by how the ropes are tied, I think only someone knowledgeable about parachutes could have made it. The rust and deterioration of the galvanized metal fittings suggest that it's been in use for over 50 years. I suspect it was made personally as a memento of the past.
