Next, when the straight stitch setting is selected and the start switch is pressed, the needle moves up and down, and the panel displays "Please check the thread" (presumably because the thread is not set). I have confirmed this much, but I have not actually sewn anything; it is a junk item. Please also use it for parts. Due to being a junk item, no claims are accepted.
